Magic Missile hitting harder longer you keep at it ... (50K+ hits)

I will report this as a bug even though i play a CW myself and this behaviour is sort of nice but... It is so powerfull it put to shame every other abilities you have. If you keep pressed down you magic missile on a single target without losing track of it the damage will ramp up with each hit to ungodly values ... I have been hitting against some bosses for 50K + without critting on each Magic Missiles. Those seem to reset only when you interrupt you casting or lose the target for some other reason. It then restart. The trouble is that it makes most of any other skill you have useless. The most damaging other spell i have in reference does 22K crits as daily. I have an at-will that can hit for 50k without critting as long as i can hold it. Of course those rampaging dmg turn the boss on me and i eventually need to interrupt them to save myself, but it seems problematic to me that my most powerfull offensive abilities is my at-will if i dont use any other skills (or it would break the build up)...

So here it is i bug this since its there for a while and was not fixed...

    or... or it maybe sums up your total dmg for that skill?

    It sums up your damage, it doesn't hit 50k+.

    Why would it sum my power dmg ? It seem to be counter intuitive (providing feedback to players that is not under the same format as other powers) as well as useless. Why would i want to sum the amount of dmg my magic missile does when i hold down the button ? The information is how much dmg are my abilities doing at any given moment not over the last undetermined amount of time ... In any way ... something is still wrong with it.

    no it sums your "combo" dmg. I play roque and when i spam left click it just hits for standard amount of dmg + he sums up the dmg to high values ;]

    as far as i have seen it ingame the damage from the current hit is visible and then flies towards another dmg-number which is your total dmg with that ability. its kinda usefull for DoT-skills because it "counts" how much damage you dealt with that.

    Yeah but in the case of magic missile if you keep it pressed you are not doing any combo and if you dont press it it does not do dmg ;) ... maybe a crit from time to time but it does not mean anything since most feat require multiple skills to activate. Would make more sense to clear the screen of this value and give more space for the actual value that are all cramped up together. But i can see in the case of a dot why this kind of behaviour could be nice. Well, its my 2 cent in that case ;).

    It counts multiple missiles combo and the huge number you see is just a total amount of damage done by non-stop M.missile attack. Game just trolled you :(
