To unlock one of the crafting slot i have to "Complete a task with 100% speed bonus". What does this mean? Do I have to buy a boost or something?
Thanks
/Duf
it means you complete a task with hirelings that add a total of 100% boost, you might have noticed that some of the slaves (green colour and better) have a speed bonus on them (green is 25%), some tasks you can even assign multiple slaves, just get a total of +100% speed to it

Thanks! At what crafting level could this be possible? As of now at crafting lvl 8 or so i have only normal color slaves.
Thanks again!

truth be told I have no clue how to even get the coloured slaves, I got one from a pack from a reward or something (nothing real money related), but havent seen one since.
I assume they come from the master profession packs. (and might be a pita to get through non paying means) but don't quote me on that since I hardly craft

I know for tailoring, pretty much really early if you can get the four blue guys. The mass weaving tasks have enough slots to put four blues in there, giving you the bonus. The color of your "slaves" has nothing to do with what level you are, it's more when you find or buy them. There are usually a ton on the auction house, for various costs. If you can get them at a decent price, and plan on crafting a good bit, they aren't a bad investment, they stay useful for quite some time.

Sadly the +10% (green) 25% (Blue) and 50% (Purple) workers/tools can only be gotten via Zen store profession packs or the AH.
The best you can get with out buying these is a rank 3 +5% speed worker.
The colored workers primarily come from the Profession Asset Pack (1600 Zen, gives a random selection of workers and tools) and give +10% (green), +25% (blue) or +50% (purple) speed bonus. If you don't want to pay Zen for a chance to get something you might be able to use, you should check out the AH.
You can get +100% Speed bonus by using 4 blue workers (of the same type) on a Mass Conversion task apropriate for their profession (Tailoring for Tailors). You get access to a Mass Conversion task at profession level 1 for each of the 4 item crafting professions, the most workers you can use for Leadership is 2 per task.

Checked the AH and getting 4 blue mailsmiths will set me back approx 600-700 k AD. Might be worth it as it will make crafting more fun I guess. Time to use Visa card....
