Author: Myyth

Campaign (Short Code: NWS-DB89TOCEC)

Q1: The Lion of Cormyr (Short Code: NW-DNNKEE3YD)
Q2: Righteous Indignation (Coming Soon)
Q3: Bathed in Fire (Coming Soon)

What's up guys. This is my first time using the Foundry and have plans to complete the second two parts to this first small 3-part series. The first portion of this Campaign was to familiarize myself with the tools of the Foundry, and to get some practice in. With some good reviews, alot of spare time on my hands, as well as a better working knowledge of the Foundry itself, I hope to expand things in the second two quests in the series.

The first Quest, The "Lion of Cormyr" is not too long, and gives just enough backstory and Lore to wet the pallette for the longer installations in the series to come. I have grand plans and ideas after reviewing tons of other Foundry missions for expansion and hope to bring some fun content in the future.

I welcome any and all feedback and reviews, tips and tricks, and and am definitely willing to check out and review other Author's works in return if you drop Me a line.

Part 1: revision 1.1 : Fixed quest Dialogue with the Shade that would stop the quest from proceeding without choosing a secondary dialogue path.

I played this with a level 8 GWF and Founders-cheater-sword, plus cleric. This would be very hard at higher levels to play, I dare using my 30ish Guardian Fighter for this.
While talking to the Shade of Arun Blackstaff and choose to 'say nothing', the dialogue ends but the quest doesn't progress. So you have to talk to him again and use other dialogue-options, kind of weird :)

Love the idea and dialogues, especially that dwarf in the tavern:
Looking for Riches? Get lost! -> the end
This is kind of a bummer and makes you read more carefully.

Hey Zage, thanks for the feedback! I playtested obviously through the foundry on a level 6 warrior, and then ran through it with my companion (and the insane lag earlier) on my 26 cleric with Man-At-Arms and found it an interesting challenge. It was definitely do-able, only requiring some nice timing and a couple of pots at the end. I wanted the challenge to be in the end, at the twist.

As far as the dialogue options go with the shade, great catch! That was on my to-do list to fix that portion of the Shade's conversation and I completely spaced it last night, so that's going to be updated here in just a few moments.

I'm also taking your feedback to heart on some more flavor text and options for the dwarves and other patrons. Thank You for your time!

Had a great time, the Blackstaff Crypt was very nice looking. Loved the story and wanted more. Looking forward for the second one.

I have two small things that I saw that isn't really that big.

    1. So many different races together I didn't see anything in story that tied them all together.
    2. Was little short, if that's what you was going for. To be qualified for the daily reward it has to be 20min I believe.

I had a great time and it was a grand adventure!

    Heya Bobcat!

Thank you for the feedback and the review!

You are absolutely right about the continuity of the racings being not-so-well blended together. I was going for a variety, but more for testing purposes to see what each can do, and will be something that I'll be using to tie into the story as I go forward to really blend it together.

It was also intended to be short, but I realize that higher level characters with better gear might plow through it a little fast. First couple of playthroughs were just about the 15-18 minute mark. I wasn't sure what the minimum time was to qualify for the daily, so thank you for that, I'll definitely be working on adjusting that for the future.

I'm curious, if I don't extend that one, and make the second and third parts long enough to qualify for the daily and they get chosen, I'm assuming only those two out of the three will qualify and not the entire campaign? (not sure if you can have multiple quests at once count towards the daily from the same author, if so makes me want to go back and extend the first, but need to get my legs under me first)

Again many thanks and am already working on putting together the second installment as the storyline is almost already written.

The minimum qualification length is 15 minutes and it must have 20 runs.

Foundry quests are easier at lower levels and harder at higher levels. Balancing your quest towards a low level character will have many people jumping out the window. (What I say when I ditch a quest that wasn't tested with a high level character and I have a train of mobs chasing me as I try and drop aggro so I can click the exit on the mini map)

You can have as many available quests as you want to qualify for the daily.

Awesome thanks for the Reply Crok! That's exactly what I was wanting to know, and thanks for the pro-tip on testing the Foundry with higher level characters! That's definitely something that I'll keep in mind.

There you go, I haven't been in foundry for a very long time... and my brain tends to forget stuff very easy. Thanks Crok for correcting me.
