My quests, when they are played by anyone, are 99 percent of the time voted the best thing anyone has ever seen in the Foundry.. So my question is, what are the developers looking for that I didnt do. You dont have to believe my ego.. go play my quests. I already proved it.

Any of the alpha foundry testers will tell you this, that have done my quests.. Several redid their entire quests after seeing mine.
I guess it's no big focus on featured quests atm because of the foundry-errors.

Lol. no worries. im just letting it be known that i am aware my quests are the best in the foundry.
A little arrogant, but that's fine. I imagine the more expansive and polished it is, the better chance you have of getting featured. A lot of Dungeon Masters publishing on here seem to focus so much on dialogue they don't put much effort into things like sounds, encounters, etc. If you're as good as you say you are, you should have no trouble getting featured in the future. I didn't bother submitting my first map to be featured since music is still bugged, and the map requires just a little more walking than I imagine most people prefer.
There's probably going to be some stiff competition, as there are thousands of Dungeon Masters working hard to get noticed right now. Anyway, good luck to you.

You were in beta too, so you know as well as I do it's random.
lmao.. I must add to this that everyone that knows me, knows I am in a full rant right now, and when i settle down, i will be fine. I just dont take enough time these days to really throw down in the forums..
Sarcasm doesn't work like that on the internet. When not accompanied by physical gestures (obviously not possible on the internet) or smileys, and not used on close acquaintances, it comes off entirely wrong. In this case it comes off as arrogance, and deservedly so.

I dunno... completely unrealistic/otherworldly boasts and exaggerations are usually a clear indicator.
Of course, it's entirely possible it was a drunk post instead.

If you look at the in game calendar, you'll see that featured foundry quests are chosen every tuesday. There has only been one round of officially featured quests so far. You may have already been chosen, who knows?
I laid it all on the line. lol. sink or swim, so to speak. But there was some intended sarcasm. I read all kinds of crazy things in these forums, so I didnt feel out of line joining the club for a bit..
Please keep in mind that this is the current guideline for featured quest and not the rules. The process for how a quest gets featured is likely to evolve with the needs of the game and the community.
The criteria for having your quest be available for Cryptic to Feature.
Submit the quest for featuring (please note: there is no guarantee that a quest submitted for featuring will become a featured quest)
Generally we will not be featuring quests that are not submitted for featuring. That's not to say that we wont contact an author that has an amazing quest and ask them to please submit it for featuring.
How a quest can be picked for featuring (this is not a complete list or meant to be the only list. These are things that are considered.
This list can change or be updated at any time)
The community votes, promotes and/or makes recommendations
We play the quests and make recommendations
Positive reviews in game and in the forums
Doesn't violate terms of use
Good ratings
Plays
A host of other things not listed here
What it comes down to is showing off the totally awesome stuff the authors make. It is a treat to be able to play such unique content and there are times that our authors deserve some time in the spotlight. My take on it, as a fan of Foundry, if I am playing a Foundry quest and it is cool or blows my mind, i'll recommend it for featuring. I'll tell the devs "HEY check this out!!" and let them know just how great the quest is.
There is no magic to it. Featured Foundry is meant to be a way to highlight the work our authors do. It's fans of the Foundry and it's Authors telling everyone in the game that there is some pretty awesome stuff they should be playing.
