Ranger class availability

Has it been announced yet when the Ranger class will be free to play? I saw it is now included in the $199 founders pack (or w/e its called), just curious is there is a time frame when free players can play the class?

    No one can play the class, not sure where you saw it as founders able to play it, but it's not out yet. I'm guessing it will be released when Drow becomes able for others to play, in 60 days or so, but we don't have it either. Though, i could see them doing a thing like the drow, where founders get first shot, fair or not, as they did it with drow.

    Yeah no idea what your talking about Ranger class. Playable Drow does not mean ranger (damned Drizzt)

    This is the description on the $199 pack, why do they say "ranger"?

    You mean where it says play LIKE the ranger Drizzt? You can make a drow LIKE Drizzt. You cannot be a ranger. Time for reading comprehension skillz 101.

    u did misread. they dont say you can Play a ranger. they say you can Play a drow like the ranger drizzt. refering to drizzt being a ranger.

    I'm not interested whether it is a drow or drizzt but is it a race that uses bows? That is what I associate with a ranger (like) class.

    wow you dont get it? race is just a race. it has nothing to do with the class

    It is a race not a class, races dont use weapons classes do. There is no Ranger class as of now. There is a Drow Race.

    I have the Hero of the North pack and can say I don't get access to a ranger or race that uses a bow, we assume the next classes that are being worked on are the scourge warlock and Archer Ranger but we don't know when or in which order they will be released, but I think it will be after the game has launched which there is still no release date for. They have said they would like to do 3 updates a year so if this is correct will be about 4 months after release. But no one knows.

    From what I heard the ranger was all up and ready to get released, they just held it off because they wanted the game out for open beta...
