Where are the axes, maces, poleaxes, warhammers...?

Currently lvl 30 GWF and im yet to find a single weapon that is not a dagger or sword, counting from beta weekend 3 until now.

So what's the deal? If the only weapon variation is at lvl 50+ then that's shockingly bad

Wait for them to appear in the Zen Shop for ridiculously high prices. Yeah, you know it's comin'.

There is currently a greataxe and 2h mace also available to GWF, but that's about it. I would assume it's coming, since it's pretty HAMSTER poor weapon variation by any mmo's standard.

This is Tera with a DnD facelift, there are no weapon variations!

I hope Cryptic adds in weapon variants for the classes even if 4e says clerics only get the goofy symbol.

Youre a guardian fighter and you can use two swords instead of sword and board?

is there anything official about this? so strange to have a d&d (and rpg) game and not include basic items such as axes and maces. forget about no archer class, this is much, much worse.

this is open beta so i would hope they patch it in but it's still pretty bad to open it up to the public without basic rpg items

while we are on the topic of limited choice ... why limit the armour type of classes? and why does everything look the same?

Let me be honest with you people here...

    Great Axe
    Great Club
    Great Sword
    Maul

all use the same basic animation to swing with all of the various attacks in game. Why is that important? well thinking into D&D most of the other weapons like the say a polearm would require a whole new set of animations to use it... more then likely you wont see this at all. The Maul has never been an official D&D weapon something we always ask for but ends up never showing up officially. Warhammers are one handed weapons not two handed weapons, so chances are high only going to see axes, clubs and great swords may get a hammer if we get lucky, but polearm i feel wont appear because needs new animation set which would require substantial time to design.

hate to tell you this folks but I doubt very much that with all they have going on they'll be making a major change like adding new animations for new weaponry I'd give it at least 6 months before seeing something like that because they have all the beta to get thru with fixes, they have adding the things they had to turn off because of the beta bugs, they have all the classes they are working on post official launch to deal with. It's prolly not going to be anytime soon.
