The Veiled Mist

[justify]The Veiled Mist is a guild of thieves, assassins, mercenaries and black market merchants that are made up of numerous races. They will accept whatever races are allowed in the city. While technically a guild, once a member is indoctrinated they are considered family, as a strong sense of loyalty is a part of what makes the guild operate properly. In fact, members rarely even use the word 'guild'. They pride themselves on their secrecy with their head members being a closely guarded secret, known only to other ranking members of the family. When questioned about who is in charge, most members will commonly reply "You're talking to him", or "I'll pass along the info, now spill" though the occasional reply of a dagger to the back will occur with more persistent individuals. There are no ex-members of the guild as they will go to great lengths to silence any members who betray them.[/justify]

[justify]They are only as good as their reputation and thus, won't betray a contract and will follow it to the letter. What is not widely spread is that the guild does alot of their work for the benefit for those in need or for the better of Neverwinter. They may kill, pillage, loot and kidnap, but at the end of the day those that know them never go hungry, get cold and most of all feel safe. Criminals labeled by authorities, heroes to others. An overall mystery to some. Do you seek The Veiled Mist?[/justify]

  • A Secretive Organization of Mercenaries, Assassins and Black Market Merchants.
  • Races: Any. Their motto is, "We could be anyone, anywhere."
  • Classes: Fighters, Rogues, Mages, (Any Really)
  • Alignments: Neutral...ish
  • Deities of worship: Mask, Tempus, Tymora, and others although the organization is not religious by any means
  • Enemies: Items they seek or marks they are given
  • Allies: The highest bidder

Who We Are

[justify]The Veiled Mist is a Medium-Heavy RP/PVE/PVP/Social Secretive Guild Theme guild in Neverwinter. We are a fun laid back group looking for more people that want to enjoy Neverwinter with a unique guild theme. While the major part of our focus is Roleplaying, we expand in other areas of the game such a Player vs. Player and Dungeons. Whatever hits your fancy you will hopefully find here.

Why a pick a Secret Organization like theme? That is a good question we asked ourselves and the answer we got back was "Why not?" We could have easily created a true mercenary, true military, noble secret society theme, but if you look around enough you can find those a dime a dozen. We wanted something that could be unique to the community and to someone's character.

How could your character get involved with The Veiled Mist? There many different ways, we are open all races, classes and roleplay ability levels. Our goal is really to have our members long in day after day having fun. We will be taking huge advantage of the Foundry not only creating internal RP for the guild, but creating RP for the RP Community itself.[/justify]

So in summary:
  • Guild Theme: Secret Guild of Mercenaries, Assassins and Black Market Merchants.
  • Guild RP Level: Medium-Heavy
  • Guild Focus: RP/PVE/PVP with as much socializing as possible.
  • Guild Size: Currently Medium/Large
  • Guild Timezone/Region: North America, All Timezones.
  • Recruitment: OPEN (LGBT Friendly)(Age 18+, Some Exceptions)
  • Voice Chat: Yes, Teamspeak. As of June 15th Teamspeak is required upon initial membership. This was requested by the guild members to get to know the new prospects.
