First of all, I am NOT the author of this campaign. The author is Fresno@fresnonever.

I created this in his name, because he has a technical problem with the forum.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hi all,

after learning with tutorials and manuals of The Foundry, I have finished my first quest. It is a basic and easy quest, but I think it isnt so bad.

My intention is to create a campaign called: Horsemen of Apocalypse.

NOTE: Please, if you find any grammatical errors, let me know. English is not my native language.

Now, ill show you my project:

Campaign: Horsemen of Apocalypse
Author: Fresno@fresnonever

Description:

Horsemen of Apocalypse is a serie of five quests, with story, combat and puzzles. (Coming soon)

A miner from Coal Town found a book while he was mining. It was de Sacred Book, sealed with seven seals.
Now, four of the seven seals have been broken.
You will fight against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Pestilence, War, Famine and Death.
And once you defeat them, you must fight against his master the evil wizard Gaerus, who broke the seals.

Think you can do it?

Your adventure begins... now.

QUESTS

Q1: Horsemen of Apocalypse (Part 1): Pestilence

Not long ago, Brone, a miner from Coal Town, found something that should never have fallen into his hands. It was the Sacred Book, sealed with seven seals by divine power and that, under no circumstances, should not be opened.

The miner, ignoring the value of the book, sold it to a merchant for a few diamonds. That merchant was Gaerus, a powerful wizard, that always wanted the book to unleash its power.

Now, after many attempts, four of the seven seals have been broken, releasing the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Pestilence, War, Famine and Death.

Your goal will be to close the seals again and to make sure that Gaerus recieves his punishment.

Now, your first mission is to find and close the first seal. To do this, go first to Coal Town.

Q2: Horsemen of Apocalypse (Part 2): War

Working on it

Q3: Horsemen of Apocalypse (Part 3): Famine

In progress

Q4: Horsemen of Apocalypse (Part 4): Death

In progress

Q5: Horsemen of Apocalypse (Part 5): Gaerus

INFO:

Length: Fast (7-10 min)
Fight: Medium
Storytelling: High
Difficulty: Easy

Please, if you play it, tell be about any errors or suggestions.
I know its a really basic quest, have mercy.
Thanks,
Fresno@fresnonever

Think the story needs some work. I knew what was going on, but not really why. You may explain it in the next quests, but the player should really need a good teaser to want to play more. Also, the last door to leave Coal Town is through a house, that doesn't make sense to me. Maybe use the city gate. The random NPCs spoke to me like they knew me and why I was there. That seemed odd. Combat was fun.

Played and left a review. I think my review came out sounding harsher than I meant it to.

Basically, I think you have a good base, but it needs fleshed out way more. I steamrolled this with a cleric without healing myself, no potions, nothing. then encounters seem too random, with very little thought put into them. While bosses are not something easily doable in the foundry, I got to do some others this week with some pretty fantastic boss encounters. THis guy was a bit of a pushover and had nothing special about him. I was expecting this huge. monstrous thing, and instead I got this tiny guy who wasn't much more than the typical easy encounters.

That being said, again, I think you have a great base to work from. The story is intriguing, but really needs more to it. The very first thing said to me is "The first seal has been broken, can you help?" You need to explain it a little mroe.
My quest was deleted in July of 2013. There were no issues, it had not violated any rules. Was deemed a bug. That quest is still missing.

UPDATE: Fixed some bugs around the cave and changed the encounter for Pestilence.

    Now, working on the story!
