Ok so I have two issues currently vexing me:
1. How the heck do i go into stealth on my rogue?
I've hit level 5 and he has a class ability which provides bonuses while in stealth but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to activate it! It appears in the button space between daily power and [the power you activate by pressing Tab which is still locked - is that an encounter power?], and I can't figure out what button it is so as to put a keybind on it.
I feel stupid that I need assistance with this, but I've looked everywhere I can think of - powers screen, keybindings, reading all the mouseover tooltips, looking at my levelling history in case I missed an announcement, google, wiki, the lot. I've even hit alt to allow me to use the mouse and tried clicking on it.
Pointless being a rogue without stealth - help please!
2. Does anyone know the fix for cameras jumping around all over the place whenever right clicking?
It's not the mouse (i've tried it in other machines and tried other mouses in my machine), it's some peculiar interaction between my specific OS/hardware set up and the game - I right click and instead of doing whatever the right click is supposed to do, it immediately jumps the camera to a top down view and changes the direction I'm facing. The only other game I've had this happen in is Champions Online and it made it so unplayable (as the right click was the camera lock so you could look around) I never went back.
I've been into the keybinds and changed through all the options for the right click (there's like a right press, right press and hold etc etc), reinstalled the game, I've reinstalled and updated mouse drivers. I've updated graphics and sound drivers too. I've searched the net and found plenty of people reporting this issue in various games, but not once have I found a solution being posted. I have a work around - I have to mapped my 2nd daily power to a mouse side button, and unbound the right click completely - I have to restrain myself from ever touching that right button when I play neverwinter (and nothing else except for CO) because even unbound the right button does the camera viewing thing.
But a workaround isn't a fix and can be lethal in combat if my finger slips - at the risk of repeating myself: help please!

Far as the mouse thing - under mouse profiles do you have the right mouse set up to do something different for some reason (act as button 3 or something)? If it's not in the game it has to be in the OS. I know for my own mouse the middle click is frustrating to use so I have Windows set that to one of the side buttons by default.
Oh well, I'll wait till L10 before I worry.
Re mouse ill check profiles but I doubt it im just using windows defaults afaik.

Because those abilities are used after you get stealth... They are useful /without/ stealth, you know.
As far as your mouse issue, I have no idea. Is there any chance you can get a video of what you're experiencing? On my TR, the right click throws a knife at the enemy. The camera stays stationary, just as it would with left click. Is the camera just looking behind you or something when you hit right click? Are you perhaps hitting right click too hard and sending the mouse flying one direction every time you click? hehe
I will double check the mouseover on the power - I'm sure it suggested it was only useful from stealth.
Checked: yup. 'Sneak attack' class feat: +10% faster run speed while stealthed
So... pointless, for five more levels. It just sits there on my bar taunting me. 'Deception' - press tab to enter stealth - appears as available when 10 points have been spent in powers, which I think must be what, L15? That is ... really quite silly. Surely those two should be the other way around?
No trust me I am not doing anything wrong with this one that I can tell, lol. This isn't my first MMO/3rd person/computer game y'know.
Like I say - even if I completely unbind the right mouse button from any ability, so it shouldn't do anything it still does this. I could hold the mouse still with one hand, and lightly tap the right button, it still jerks the viewing angle to straight down (losing my target). If I have an ability active on right click, it DOES try to use the ablility. However, since the camera now does not have a target, I just get the relevant 'no target' error. I have no idea how to take and then post a video. I'm sure there are tools out there but I don't fancy learning how to video edit just for a bug like this. However if you're aware of a free one and somewhere free I can host the resultant file, I'll certainly have a go.
Oh ****, sorry; I misread your initial post. I thought you were talking about your left and right click abilities that had the additional "stealth" description. Sorry about that. It sounds like they should change it, but every class gets one of their class abilities around that level so the rogue does too. Maybe switch the class ability? hmmm
So your right click when you use it aims the camera downward at your feet every time? So if you're looking forward at the enemy and are about to throw a knife at him, you use it and you're looking straight down? edit - Just trying to make sure I understand the problem correctly
edit x2 - I found some results, some say if you're using a wireless mouse that it sometimes happens when the battery is almost dead. Some say clean the lens (I assume you already did that) and one said "

Have you also tried using another mouse to see if the problem persists?
V frustrating
It was an old mouse driver still floating around my system. Found it under add/remove programs of all things, must be from an old gaming mouse... except I've never owned one. Anyway. Standard Win7 drivers back on, and right click is working now, thank goodness.
They give an ability that has synergism with stealth before you get stealth, because you'll be using that ability before AND after you get stealth.

forgive me but I don't see how a plain run bonus while in stealth can be used whilst you can't go into stealth. Can you explain more about how this ability will be used please?
