Devastating New Bug?

I had started a new toon just before the major server crash. I logged on this morning and started doing Blacklake missions. That's when I noticed something truly disturbing. My Panther Companion was actually attacking my enemies! What is going on here? Why is this happening?

    It's called SPAM.
