This is seriously the first game Cryptic looks like they tried on. I'm very impressed with it, and I've probably put in 6+ hours of gameplay so far today. As soon as maintnance ended this morning I logged in and had a blast. I've always criticized Cryptic for their heavy instancing, and boring gameplay overall. But the combat is fluid and fun, the zones are pretty nice sized. the quests are a bit bland, but I love the combat. Cryptic, you actually made a customer happy that looked down at you as one of the worst MMO devs ever.
I play on Beholder, I am a great weapon warrior, named Ishami. My handle is Ishami@konner920 if you wanna friend up.
Thank you for creating this. This is literally the BEST free MMORPG I have ever played.
My in-game handle is @Ishamii and my STO/CO handle is @konner920 if you wanna add me on anything.
Shard: Beholder
Characters: Ishami (GWF level 60, geared for pvp) waiting for the Ranger class to be added

You know what's funny? We are so accustomed to only negative posts on the forums it seems odd to hear someone just saying something as simple as, "Hey, I've been playing the HAMSTER out of your game and I like it".
I came into this game knowing nothing of Cryptic's reputation at all. I've dabbled in a few MMO's, but none of them held my attention. WoW, GW2, Secret World...all of them I played a few hours and never went back.
This, though. THIS.
I love the combat, which makes the "go kill x and bring back y" quests all good in the hood. The interface is streamlined where I don't feel too overwhelmed with the amount of MMOish stuff going on.
Raved about this so much, I got my wife playing, too.
Also, I'm gonna be throwing some monies as soon as the servers get back online. Maybe they could use it to buy more hamsters?
And the monies? I'm buying lock box keys. Why? Cause sometimes gambooooling is fun.
Especially when you realize you are playing a well made game for nothing. A few bucks here and there isn't going to kill anyone.
So far it all very solid, specially the daily powers. This is one of the first MMOs I have played where I feel like my character is awesome and does cool stuff. I play a fighter and the spin maneuver is fun as hell, don't even get me started on the dragoon jump attack cause it's amazing and I feel awesome doing it. Good job Cryptic, my friends and I think we finally found a game we can all agree to play.

I even got my brother, and a few of my friends playing. And they are even enjoying it. We've been looking for an MMO to play for a while.

I'm impressed as well. I've been hopping from mmo to mmo in between my console gaming trying to find another mmo I can really get into like my last long term mmo relationship (I played it for 5 years before it kinda just slowly died a horrible flamey death). I really like the fact people can create maps and quests for other people to play and so far the community seems friendly and inviting. Also very easy to party up.
best of all... so far this hasn't turned into some terrible grinder where I hafta farm a spot for hours to level but then again I'm only level 16 so I haven't gotten very far I suppose.

I'm having a blast too. I don't have as much time to play as I would prefer due to real life issues but when I'm in game I'm having a ball.
