Tower of Alteration Issue (Unacceptable)

Before I begin, I would like to apologize if this issue has already been reported. I also apologize if this is the wrong place to post this, since this may not be a bug but an intended function.
Now, the issue with the Tower of Alteration (the means of which to re-customize your character's appearance) is it completely resets his/her appearance when entering the interface. This may not be an issue for those who simply picked a preset appearance, and made minor adjustments here and there, but for those who have spent a considerable amount of time on their character and just want to make minor tweaks (such as changing skin color and tattoo), this is completely unacceptable (especially since taking screenshots using the PrintScreenSysRq button removes the UI from the scene). Please fix and/or change this function!
