Does anyone know, whether drows are ever going to be available for F2P players as well? F.e. if they are those "Coming soon" race, or they might be unlocked somehow in game..? I noticed they are part of the Hero of the North pack, but still... I'm just asking. So no hatred, please, and thank you for answers.
I think there is a 60 day 'Hero of the North' Founder access only to Drow. After that anyone can play generic Drow.

. . . . . Normal Drow (in D&D, drow is both singular and plural. An "s" is only added to show possessive) will be available 60 days later as a free race. The Menzoberranzan Renegade is a variant bonus for Heroes so for the first 60 days, the Menzo Drow are the only ones available.
They will be available to all players in 60 days, but they will be a basic version. I think the HoTN versions have some more customization options.
. . . . . The Menzoberranzan Renegade Drow have access to a special Background Racial Choice, "Menzoberranzan Renegade." As well, they have a slew of unique tattoos and they are able to use "Faerie Fire" where-as normal drow will have "Darkfire."

The color of the particle effect is the only difference i believe.
thanks , does anyone know if they are going to have the outfits seen in the videos because all the drow I have seen in game (players) wear the same gear as everyone else.
