No way to rebind left ctrl key?

Left ctrl by default is a lock target function. It locks your camera to a friendly target. It's super useful for staying locked onto a tank as a healer, for instance. You can currently unbind it by binding another function to left ctrl, but I'd like to change it to shift (since I rebound that key to one of my mouse buttons). Left ctrl is currently my Mumble push to talk key and I'd like to keep it that way.

I guess when I get home I'll poke around with the keybindings.ini file (if one exists, I see people mentioning it on the forum) but it'd be really cool if this was available within the interface.

I'm gonna try this when I get home from work and can log in. Seems promising: http://www.stowiki.org/GuideGDN_Keybinds#ConsiderationsGDN_Writing_your_scripted_keybind_file

Seems like the command to export the bindings to a txt file does work, but it only exports the custom bindings. So I can't see what leftctrl is currently bound to so I could change it.

As someone who has habitually used L CTRL as a push to talk for over 10 years this "feature" is ruining my desire to play the game. :C

I tried using this and adding the following to the bottom of the .txt file:

    Lctrl "(null)"

However this does not seem to work.

Ok I think some touch on this in an earlier post, but if you bind left ctrl to a command by pressing it and then clicking the just this button, then hit apply. You can then go back into the key binding and bind that same command to something else, but left ctrl should stay unbound. I have just done this and it seem to be working.

I also have just tried this, and can confirm it definitely works. Now I can use the left control key for PTT in VENT.
It would be better though if this was easily do-able from within the game key binding menu though.
