Launcher still will not work.

Hi I just reinstalled Neverwinter and the launcher crashed again and it turned white and screen popped up saying :
"Cryptic game launcher has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

A moderator told me to download the Neverwinter.exe file and I did but the same problem occurs. It opens the launcher, the launcher turns white and gives me the same message. The moderator further directed me to post on the bugs forum to find a solution. Can someone please help me? Thank you. G3009

    I have the same problem with the white launcher window, seems like nothing happens

    I have been playing for days, was tanking in a skirmish, the all of the sudden I get that message mid game. A Windows warning that the program has stopped responding. So I quickly tried to relog in, no doubt my group needs me! Yeah ok well not so much in this game. But it didn't matter, all I get now is a white screen launcher...

    Edit: My windows update finished and now the launcher is back.... Just thought I would let the Cryptic people know, it was indeed a background windows update that caused my launcher to go white.

    Edit 2: Now it don't work again. I typed in my password, it gave me some sort of submit bug thing, and now it is white again. Grrrr!

    first a long time til the small updating window goes away then White launcher window, still no fix for this?

    Yep same.. could log in few hours ago.. game crashed again while I was exiting a gungeon and now the luncher is not working anymore... got a white square.. nothing in it.

    Same problem here. Got only few hours to play today and this is the time i get to spend it...looking at a blank screen. Yupieee

    Yeah it will come up every now and again, it is not always white. If I keep trying to launch it over and over and over. Then a Cryptic bug report window will pop up, but disappear before I can even type anything. The funny thing is, that I have had zero launcher issues until this morning at around 7:15 to 7:18 am EST, when everything went wonky.

    Just thought I'd share what seems to have worked for me -

    After replacing the .exe, logging into the website thru IE, etc., I found none of these solutions making any difference. I was still getting the white launcher screen. Then I noticed in the main folder for the installed game, an .htm document called, "everwinter.htm.exe" *Note that I purposefully left out the "N" in the file name*

    I simply deleted this file, clicked the .exe, and the game launched without any problems, and is currently patching for my first run after installation.

    To fix the white launcher issue try this:
    1. Open a DOS window (cmd.exe)
    2. Type in "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes) and hit enter
    3. Try launcher again

    Other users have fixed it by trying to replace their patcher.exe with one from a support thread. Others fixed it by trying to run their patcher as administrator. Others fixed it by trying to run the patcher a multitude of times. The ipconfig trick worked for me though when none of the others did.

    Nope, still didint work. But thanks. Any other solutions anybody? Atleast its good to know I am not alone lolz.

    Well it's going down for maintenance in 10 minutes so maybe just have to wait. If it STILL gives you problems after the patch, another option I've seen is deleting the files in the localdata folder.

    Try changing file route. Moving my game folder from Programfiles (x86) to a different folder worked for me.

    how nice to know that i'm not the only 1 whit not to get started whit this game, 1 log in will crash the start-up, 2 log-in will keep on patching and patching....................
    I did try almost everything to get this problem solved, but nothing works yet. I think that i have to be patient :P
