I wanna play ranger too. I suppose that ranger and warlock will go into beta testing in separate server and then released, which will take about 1/2 year as far as i know cryptic
Ummmm. Drizzt is a drow *****ranger*****. Ranger is a ******class*****.
Da da da derpy. derpage. derp-o-rama.

Ranger is pretty much done, and is already a favorite among many of the devs, they are just adding a little more polish (AKA saving a favorite for the store). Should be out very soon. They already have the nature nodes in game which they harvest with their class skill.
I've heard Warlock and Warlord mentioned as the next, pretty sure one of those is a typo, dunno which, supposedly it's also close, maybe a month away.

I'm sure they held it back so its not ~90% rangers... so we ended up with ~80% rogues instead. =p

Warlock is next, then Ranger. In beta weekend 3 warlock items were dropping like candy, then they fixed it. So Warlock is coming soon, then Ranger.
This is unlikely. There is already a mage class. Ranger is a staple of mmos. Ranger will be next.
Nah, warlock is next. Paladin is also a staple of MMO's, where is it? And Two Weapon Ranger which is what it will be is more like a Rogue, and there are 2 ranged 3 melee classes. Warlock is next sonny.

It's not going to be TW Ranger. Bow ranger was announced years ago.
There is another thread with speculation, but it's pretty well known from datamining that Scourge Warlock and Archer Ranger are almost done, probably due at launch. There is also no sense in saying they will cost money to get, as most people have limited character slots, which they will spend money on to get if they already have them filled.

By what I've been told, all future classes are free. If they start the bullcrap from Champions Online, IE, asking for character slots AND classes/archetypes, then I'll do the same thing I did with that game: Quit.

Yea I agree, the nickel and diming in this game in unparalleled. Granted, no doubt the prices will be lowered, the backlash is already gaining steam. Honestly, I spent $50-100 per month or so, maybe a tad less on average, on LOTRO. I'm no cheapskate... but I do except value for my money. and from what I've seen in game so far, not much value vs. unit of Xen.
What I spent in LOTRO was worth it and justified.
So far in this game I see this: (after paying $200 for the game)
1) $10 bags
2) EIGHT bank slots... I forget what the ridiculous Xen charge for opening up more slots was
3) $1-2 to open a useless lock box. I opened about 25 before just stock piling them in hopes they will eventually be tradeable. Didn't get anything worthwhile from any of them except a couple level 5 runes which really aren't anything to scream about. maybe 10% better stats than the dozens of level 4 ones I've found.
At this point I quit even looking at Xen vendors and stuff. I was completely turned off already at this point.
As long as I can keep getting the necessities I need to run dungeons w/o having to spend real world money I'll stick around.

Indeed and since it's only 5 dollars for 2 slots I am happy to buy more

Your gonna play a drow.... named Drizzt..... with a panther named Guenhwyvar....
Too late.. already 50,000 of them.
Also I want to know what the soon-to-be-released race is... or is the grayed out slot just the Drow?

The question is, how much Xen they gonna try and gouge for it.
ranger is a class and i said nothing about drow, sooooooooooooooooo
$30-$40 gauging by the obscene prices of everything else, lol.
Man you are being optimisstic. If a single bag costs $10... I'm guessing a class will be $100. Which means I won't be playing a warlock or ranger.
This made me laugh for some reason... I must be drunk
$30-40 to make one. Then you need to pay that again to make a second. That's more inline with the prices of other things.
