How can I increase the size of the letters in the chat window?

As it is now I can barely see the text and have to squint to make out what people are saying in the game and this is with a 1920x1080 resolution.
I play as a control wizard and when it comes down to it... it's all about the freeze.

    Options, chat options, scale it up.

    Should be ESC, Options, Interface, Font Scale.

    I think that I clicked on the chat tab and nothing happend but maybe it just takes it's time to open but anyway thanks for the answer.
