Question on backpacks

Do back packs drop later in the game, other than the intial backpacks, will I have to spend cash to get new bags?

    Ive heard that leveling to 30 you get two bags from quests. I think they are two or three rows each, not that big but still useable.

    Other than that, yeah, zen store or AH

    I am 30 right now and have only gotten the small one from Blacklake. I'm not saying there isn't another, just that I have not seen it yet.

    Just don't complain about having to spend 10 bucks for one bag on one character...then people will call you an entitled brat and remind you that bags are only 'convenience items' and not necessary.

    There are (at least) two free backpacks in addition to your starting one available in-game, one very early on and another around level 30.

    AH or ZEN store are the available ways to get hold of more space, but at present the ones in the Auction House are overpriced at 600K+ Astral Diamonds. Given that you an trade AD for ZEN at (the very worst at) 500:1 these come out to a minimum of 1200ZEN whereas you can buy them from the store at 1000Zen.

    Oh and someone was bragging in /General about putting up a Bag of Holes on the AH that some poor guy actually bought. Sadly, the Bag of Holes doesn't even give you the (one) additional space that you thought it might....

    This is not a zen store promotion but i would suggest buying at least 600 zen bag. You'd need it.

    And don't bother getting bags from the Auction House, I checked last week and the prices are actually higher than buying Zen on the AD Exchange Market. Guess they're hoping to catch some people out or something.

    I have had a character run Epics and still just about be okay for bag space without buying a bag from the store, so it is doable if you (very) careful about storage space.

    That having been said, since I believe (do check!) that bags even when used are transferable between characters that a single bag purchase which would make inventory management so much easier that it is probably a pretty good 'quality of life' choice.
