Fighting allies?

Is it possible to place an npc on the map that will fight with the party against other mobs?

    Yes. Use the Guard encounter groups. They'll say in their description that these are friendlies. I use a lot of them in my latest quest.

    They can die, so don't let them be too integral to the story.

    Don't they nullify xp from mobs that they fight?

    That's what I hear yeah. I haven't tested it out just yet. My question now is, can you make said encounter follow the player?

    I could swear that my Foundry test character kept gaining tons of experience while fighting alongside guards in the last quest I made.

    If that's true, I'm sure they'll change that. I can imagine a huge battle of guards and mobs, a lounge chair for the player to sit in drinking mead and watching the xp flow.
