Question on Racial Bonus

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I really really want to know if anyone notice they actually get their racial bonus at all. I'm looking at my ability score page, and the number just doesn't add up. Is the bonus a hidden number (which already apply, but not showing) or do I have to do something else to get it? Really appreciate if anyone can help me with this, thanks! ;)

Depends what bonus you have in mind, most of them are pretty insignificant and as such you're good by just picking the race you like aesthetics of. You can do some min maxing with races, but in best case scenario you probably end up having 2% more damage on average (while maybe having less of defenses or vice versa).

Well, the thing is, I don't see the actual number increase on my ability score page. For example, I roll 17 charisma, my racial bonus gives me a +2, that should be 19, but I don't see 19 on my ability score. That is why I was wondering if I did get my racial bonus at all.

That's definitely wrong, you should see 19.

I understand it is wrong, because I'm not seeing the bonus anywhere. I've been trying to find out if anyone else have this issue.

    yeah i see mine
When we turn away from the darkness of
our past to take comfort in our peaceful lives, we
sometimes forget how dearly that peace was bought. But
there is much worth remembering in the darkness...
