Visual Effects on Weapons?

I've been lurking the forums, but couldn't find anything about visual effects on weapons. For e.g. if you enchant a weapon with an elemental effect, will the weapon show that effect?

I haven't seen any in streams, so I'm guessing they don't exist.

EDIT: A streamer answered my question -- apparently there are but at later levels.
