Just logged in and my character is not showing in the character list. I worked on this guy for several weekends and he has a lot of goodies attached to him. How do I get him back?

So they just wiped out everything that I built up over the last few weeks? That is not acceptable. I had better be getting money back that I spent on this.

Do you know how betas work? Wait, you don't. I'm ot trying to be nasty but this is how every mmo starts. If you are lucky enough to get into closed beta you are just a tester. The game isn't officially up yet. Everything you create now will be permanent however.

The previous weekends were testing, closed beta weekends. Now it is open beta, and a soft launch, so all characters were wiped. They announced this would happen.

Not when they were pushing you to spend ZEN and diamonds. Never mentioned once anywhere in creation of my character or the entire process of purchasing their Shmuck of the north pack. I see now that I was shafted. Well, another game down the drain. I am truly ticked, and will be happy to spread the good word far and wide. Perfectworld is a rip off.

What exactly did you loose? Any Zen spent got refunded. All the perks you paid for with the founder pack are still valid, including early access to open beta. So no real value has been lost.

The only thing lost was a bit of time spend in closed beta that was clearly marked as a test program. Special access mind you, that was restricted to most folks. Time that still gives you a leg up and game knowledge that will still give you a credible advantage over the mere mortals who have to wait a few more days.

Feel free to rant and rave at how badly you were mistreated, but I feel you will find sympathy lacking.

I would keep quiet as spreading the word would only backfire because everyone knows how betas work. Just some advice. Besides, how long would it take you to get back to where you were? That's half the fun right? Don't be mad at Perfectworld, they did nothing wrong. If you went into this thinking you were going to keep your character's progression when the game "officially" starts, then it is your arrogance you should be mad at.

My egg on my face. Everything in the way of 'spent' Zen etc. is there for my use with THIS version. I wasn't worried about the character. I was worried about the Geld, Zen, Cash. What an idiot I am! Shows what happens when you log on after a really long day. First step - check the wallet. Second step - start playing! I apologize for my cranky petulance.... ON To BATTLE!

I think you will get any money you spent on game back to you in the neverwinter store, it might not show up till the 30th when the game officially launches but you should see it. If not then you have a valid complaint.

Any money on diamonds should appear in your bank. Keep the faith!
