Menzoberranzan not Origin option?

Menzoberranzan is not on the background origin list for Drow... from Menzoberranzan.

    Hmm, the Race selection says Menzoberranzan Renegade, but the Character Origins in character creation do not list Menzoberranzan.....

    Northdark is there but thats not Menzo, could be from any Drow city with that option.

    wasn't too concerned, so long as i was able to choose my affiliation and deity im good, dont care about starting city on my drow.

    Yes but it was one of the boasted features of the race in the pack. Especially now that both background and deity choices give you titles.
