As stated I'll be playin till my eyes bleed. Delf thief ftw, NOT a ranger, the Drizzit has his place and it's in books. Hope to see lots of people playing to group with on the 25th with even more the 27th and 30th.

Being and old gamer myself. why do I see people using the phrase " PnP DnD"? I mean DnD alone means pen and paper game that came out back in early 80s. Just don't understand why people are saying PnP DnD..... Is there anyother type of DnD I never heard of? DDO don't count and any game with it's own title like DDO don't count.

there are a couple DnD brand board games, although those don't come to mind when someone says DnD

Since DDO doesn't count, there is also Neverwinter Nights, the Balder's Gate, etc that aren't PnP. I'm not sure what your definition of DnD is since DDO doesn't count.

I am an old gamer from the PnP days, I actually own an orginal copy of the rule set, which was a sparce set of rules in three books. But my question is "How is the game?" is it worth playing, I picked up Defiance couple of weeks ago and I must say most of the reviews are spot on only offering up a 6/10 for the most part.
I had enjoyed the orginal Neverwinter nights, and liked DDO, but the fact that it was a group only game was a detraction as I often prefer to solo. How is this game for solo play?

There is a lot of solo content. I think all the player made quests are designed to be solo at this time... I could be wrong.
