What armor type does the GWF use? Mail, plate, both?

    I think we use Mail....or plate but not as heavy as the Guardian.

    My reason for asking is because I want to train the crafting skill used to make GWF armor.

    We use mail.

    They probably wear plate... Clerics are the ones who are supposed to wear mail, at least according to D&D rules.

    At any rate we will see that tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure the professions let you preview what you're crafting so you'll know whether it is for GWF or not. The crafting NPCs should explain what every profession does and which lasses benefit from them as well.

    Scale armor would qualify as light armor, so likely the same profession as mail.

    Clerics wear Chainmail, Fighters wear Scale, Rogues wear Leather, Wizards wear Cloth

    I think there's one crafting profession for each.
    Chainmail = Mailsmithing
    Scale = Platesmithing
    Leather = Leatherworking
    Cloth = Tailoring

    clerics and Great weapon fighters both share the mail-crafting. I'm sure there will be more

    The name is Scale Mail, soo mailsmithing seems reasonable to make both chainmail and scale.
