This is by far the most important thing Cryptic needs to fix. No other issue is more pressing.
Yes Cryptic need to fix the graphics. After all who cares about classes being underpower. Having lame abilities and handle like a ton of bricks. After all graphics are more important then good game play and...... *burst into laughter.* Lol the topic is such a joke.
I'd be happy with a different weapon model. 20 levels as a GWF and I'm still using a sword that looks like I pulled it out of a pile of drift wood on the beach.

Yeah because the same people who do class balance and abilities obviously handle the graphics as well. You people need to grow up, the OP gripe is legit and should be fixed.

If this is only happening with one particular weapon model then I think there is a system where you can swap the appearance with a different model. But at low levels you will probably replace your weapon soon anyways. If it is a problem with all greatsword models for your character maybe it has to do with your character customization, e.g., chest depth or some other parameter.

He who pulls the sword out of the driftwood on the beach, becomes king and queen of that beach.

Played a Max size HalfOrc GWF and I noticed the sword crashing with two different greatsword models. The crashing however was alot less than your posted pic. Might be a human thing or having a very large chest depth might push the sword farther away from the body. But yeah needs to be fixed.
I had the same issue as I use the slim model for my character, didn't have the problem when i tried the "normal" and huge types, pretty sure its just the slim model. So for those of us who don't want to look like an ape we have to have clipping until its fixed.
