I tried that but no one ever bought mine for the "recomended"price. I just posted another offer for 75 each. I guess I just have to wait now. Is there a time limit like in the AH?

Nobody wanted to buy at the recommended price, so you went with a much worse offer? I don't think you're going to get any takers.
No, there's no time limit; your AD will sit there until launch at that price.
You need to look at the outstanding offers, and approach, if not match, them.

The exchange rate is about 400AD - 1Zen right now. To put things in perspective that's 200,000AD for a raise dead scroll (500zen).
So, yeah, you can buy Zen items by farming AD in game, but the amount of time you spend working on grinding the zen would probably be better spent working at Mcdonalds. You'd have to work half as many hours at MCD as you would at NWO to be able to afford twice as much.
It's worth noting that the exchange rate in Star Trek Online is about 98dil - 1 zen right now. But most of the things you can buy for 500zen in that game aren't 1-time consumables like scrolls, they're account wide unlocks like shared bank slots.
yeah considering how bad they nerfed ad gain in game i'm hoping they are going to be lowering the zen store prices by alot..
I wouldn't expect they'll be lowering Zen store prices much between now and launch, and certainly not across the board. Most of those prices this weekend are probably pretty close to where they're going to end up. AD gain will continue being tweaked. Keep in mind that the Auction House will eventually be a source of AD, as a number of people will buy AD with Zen in order to get gear quickly. You see it less in beta, but it will happen more after launch.
It's in PWE's best interest for the exchange rate to be as low as possible, as they derive direct income from people buying AD with Zen. They'll want to ensure AD scarcity as a result. Of course, they don't want it to be TOO scarce, or there will be no market at all, and people won't buy gear on the AH. It's a balancing act. But Zen market prices aren't driven by it in any way, because their interest there is to encourage buying Zen, not grinding AD for it.
It is, after all, a for-profit venture employing professionals, not a bunch of folks contributing their spare time and funded by donations. Those professionals are highly sought after by other companies, and must be payed a competitive wage.

The in game Diamond : Zen market is basically posting an offer to buy Zen or Diamonds at X price. IE If you want to buy 2000 Zen at 100 Diamonds per Zen someone got to be selling 2000 Zen for Diamonds at 100 Diamonds:Zen.
Given this if someone buy Zen at 400 diamonds no one going to get any Zen unless they are paying 400 or more as well.
The big question is how much will someone pay for an ID scroll in real cash?
An ID scroll = 800 diamonds and $1=100 Zen.
This means at 1Zen=50 Diamonds your pricing an ID scroll at $0.16 and at 1Zen:500 diamonds its $0.016. 400 diamonds:Zen means an ID scroll = $0.02.
I'm making roughly 600 zen per day from the 'Earn Zen' feature through Perfect World - spending around 30 minutes to an hour each day filling out offers and surveys.

This is beta-weekend and everyone knew the Zen will be restored, so my hopes are not up this will happen again

You could give it a try. Just be prepared to be inundated with tons of spam mail if you don't create a new email account for all of it.
Hence why not a lot of AD were seen over the beta as only a few people would have reached the level cap.
YOU ARE A GOD !
I always forget about this !
