Great Weapons Fighter. Ok, so where is the Reaver attack?

The attack that you talk about in the video. Quote: "One of thee first encounter abilities you receive is Reaver"

So....Where is it? It looks like a good attack, a useful attack. Something the class could use. Not the crappy Punishing Charge attack that I see for starting.

Punishing Charge would be useful maybe if it had Knockback or Knockdown, which it doesn't.....So.....Did something break in Alpha and they just not change the video? I'm kinda disappointed.

Nobody knows, not a clue? It's only the main special attack that's all over the video. And it's nowhere to be found on the class itself.

Yes I want Reaver. Like the Ogarious said the video promised us Reaver and not this very bad punish strike.

I agree punishing is lame, but it works great as a "dodge" roll mechanic, especially since it can pass through enemies and gets charges.

Majority of the attacks are pretty weak. I hope they do something about it.

I have to agree with this. It like the where worried about the GWF being op so they pre-beta nerfed it. For a primary dps class. It is very weak. Even the Guardian fighter puts out more dps then the GWF

    not in my opinion.
I leveled GF to 40 in previous beta test, now i have 38 lv GWF and i think its OP. This is long story but when you compare GF to GWF its like comparing bicycle to train.

I disagree that the GWF attacks are weak. Reaping Strike does boat loads of damage. I tend to run with Reaping Strike and Not So Fast, open with a full charge of Reaping Strike and immediately follow it with Not So Fast. Both are PBAoEs, so you'll hit everything withing 13' of you. Running Cloak Tower with that combo left most trash mob packs with 1/4HP remaining, and it takes about 3 seconds to perform. The other two encounter skills I run with are Roar and Punishing Charge, both primarily for their utility, the extra damage is just a bonus. Punishing Charge is excellent for dodging. Wait until a mob starts charging up a big attack, dash through them with Punishing Charge and them immediately begin charging Reaping Strike. 90% of the time you'll be able to charge Reaping completely before they can turn around. Rinse and repeat with the occasional Not So Fast thrown in for extra burst. Up until 20 I was running with Avalanche of Steel as my Daily, now I've got Avalanche of Steel and Slam. I really don't like Spinning Strike.

    Man... Reaver looks awesome.

Punishing Charge looks like HAMSTER compared to that.

I dont know what beta i was playing then... We HAVE reaver, its called Migthy Leap, and its better than Reaver cause you dont throw the sword before jump.

And for the Reaping Strike discussion, i fell like the attacks (with Wicked Strikes) you can make in the time you charge it do more or less the same damage, without the FEELING your doing nothing as you charge, so for the At-Will y go with Wicked+Sure Strikes (i think its named so, the fast 4 combo, "1 target" attacks) for versatility. Plus, Wiked strikes, being a faster less damage attack, can pop the Swordmaster pasive more often.
