I do not believe mounts are or will be tradable. Companions can be sold and traded, but every mount I recall seeing was bound. I know for sure that ZEN Market mounts are bound to an account, and it follows that promotional mounts will be, too.
Mounts will probably be bound to your account. If they wasn't then all those hero pack owners and guardian pack owners could just make a character and sell the mount then transfer money, delete character, then make new character and do it all over again.
Might let you send the mount to one of your other characters. Or the mount might be account wide like the mounts you buy in the zen store.
I have this Pale Horse from PCGamer and I wish to have a StormRaider instead. How do I trade mounts w/ other player?
As it was explained to me, the PCGamer mounts are an Account wide unlock, so every character you have has a Pale Horse waiting for them and are individually, bound on pickup to that character, since they are Account unlocked, you have no need to try to transfer it to another character.
It is possible, using another PCGamer key code, to get the Stormraider instead, but it is a randomly assigned reward. One code with replace the other, so if you DO get the Stormraider assigned to you, the Pale will be removed as an option.

This is untrue; I have both unlocks. In fact, I have three since I got the Pale Horse twice before getting the Stormraider Horse. Now, as to how that turns out in-game, I cannot say, since they are not released in beta, but I suspect I will get one of each per character.

Aw, ok. Glad to be wrong! (well it was explained to me wrong, but... :P)
Of course, now it's finding some more PCGamer key codes.
It is possible to trade mounts in-game. I know for a fact that you can buy a mount with AD and trade it with other players. Not sure about ones you get from PCGamer or the packs.
It is strange, the Mount that I bought in game was bind on equip, but you don't actually equip your mount. I don't know if this is a bug or if its intentional and they didn't mean them to be bind on equip.

I bought a zen mount that bound to my character on equip, but apparently I can un-bind it with astral diamonds. I don't know what I can do with it then, if I can sell it or whatever.
I have been told that my other characters should have that same mount waiting for them at the Zen stable vendor, so I will check that out this weekend. I hope that's true! I wonder if you have to be L20 before you can claim it, or if you can claim it earlier but not ride til L20?
I think. I am not sure. But when you buy a zen mount this is how you claim it on other characters. You log in other character and open zen store and check the mounts tab that shows the mounts for sale. The mount you bought will be there for 0 zen. You buy the mount for 0 zen for each character you have.
I think once something is bound, you cannot sell it to a player.
GM told me in game that once I bound a companion that I could not sell it. I thought you could train companions and then box them up and sell them. Guess not.

I believe companions and mounts are being handled differently though, with companions being permanently attached, but mounts are not? I did not try to spend the AD to un-bind my mount from my character, so I don't know if I could have emailed the mount to someone else after that. I also don't know if depends on how you bought the mount (zen, gold, AD, etc.)
