There are varying "facts" out there, but as far as I know, experience was where it was supposed to be for both beta weekends so far. Some people like to say it was accelerated, but there is no solid evidence of that, and, in fact, recent information points that out as garbage.
The experience rates did change between the two weekends, especially in terms of quest experience, but this was not because they turned some bonus off, but rather it was normal adjustment based on our testing and theirs.
In short, what we are playing is what they intend to launch.

ah thanks for that, bit disappointing seen as some folks got to level 40 in 3 days but ah well never mind eh
Yep, hit the dev tracker and you will have your answer. Personally I only hit 28 and didn't 'adventure' nearly as much as I could.
(and put way too may hours in lol)
Many will hit it hard to farm the L60 stuff then take a relaxed approach to alts. (to earn more AD) There is still plenty to attain at 60 for an optimal gear set and all the foundry content. This will not suffer GW2's fate in 45 days
Also don't forget that Cryptic uses a "sliding curve" for leveling and XP gain. The higher-up you level the longer it takes to reach the next tier. STO: you can hit Captain (level 30 I think) within three days if you push real hard, but getting from Captain to Vice Admiral (level 50) can be quite the challenge.
But also remember: people are ramrodding through the game during these beta weekends to get-in all they can. They are not "casual gaming" they are all running at full speed ahead. There also will be a LOT of people who will play the game more casually. So figure someone who plays for a couple hours three times a week. it could take them a couple months (and even that, I suspect is "pushing hard" on that schedule,) if not longer, to reach level 60 even at the current rate of leveling. This is the aspect I think many of us tend to forget about.

Yep the head starters maybe looking for their next MMO once the game is released to general. Perhaps the games i designed to play alts... buy alts.
