Feedback/Recommendations after playing CW to 18 in Beta Weekend #2

1. Animations: the "hands up" in-combat animation is silly, especially since it's triggered after teleporting. I seriously laughed out loud when I saw a wizard up ahead of me in the distance tp and then waddle forward briefly until she dropped out of combat stance. Secondly, add some variety to the idle animation like TR's have. The constant finger-staring thing is a little odd. Otherwise, animations seemed solid to me.

2. Gameplay: Since this is the control wizard, which will presumably contrast with the yet-to-be-released war wizard (assuming that one is going to be fire based?)... I would like it if the control skills were improved a little bit, if needed in exchange for some damage-dealing ability. Just personal preference. Once there is war wizard and control wizard available, unless the CW's control skills are worthwhile/powerful, I believe that few people will opt for it over the WW.

Other than that, great work. I was pretty much sure I wasn't going to play after last beta weekend but this time I had lots of fun with the wizard. Getting closer!

    you mean they have control abilities. You mean the ones that last less than half a sec

    Putting my feedback in here as well instead of creating a new thread:

    My 2nd Beta weekend, played a rogue and guard. This time I could only last until level 9 before I simply got bored and switched to another char.

    The good:
    -I actually like the fingers up style
    -I like the kit. I love the control playstyle; in other games =/.
    -The Arcane Power (tab ability) seems like a cool concept, didn't get to try it out.

    The bad:
    -Low dmg
    -Control too short, makes it feel useless
    -"Cast times" on control abilities makes them useless as a reactionary ability. Watch a NPC go into a long animation, try to interrupt it. You cannot.
    -1st at will bothers my OCD a lot. 3 casts and the last does WAY more dmg than the first two. I know I'm wasting a lot of damage potential when that 3rd attack goes into an NPC with low health.
