Quest guidance

I was unable to figure out how to access the Closed Beta review submission, if one exists.

One gameplay issue that disturbs me is the persistence of the quest guidance that directs my character to the next objective.

I understand the utility of the guidance, however it takes away the sense of freedom the game offers as an RPG, as you feel compelled to go directly to the next objective. Also, many players sit staring at the line on the floor following it to the next NPC and lose the sense of immersion your game world offers. I can tell you had a good team design your game world, and players will enjoy it more if they're encouraged to explore it, and not constantly being directed via a line on the floor to the next destination.

This guidance has pestered me since I started the beta, and I searched for a way to toggle it off, if there is one, please let me know.

    Well, you've just proven that the quest guidance can't really be so compelling, as one of the first things you're told during this 'quest guidance' upon creating a new character is how to turn off the line you find so annoying. Press Z.

    One thing you may have missed, though, is that it can also aid in exploration, as, if you set a custom waypoint on the map, this line changes to lead you to that custom waypoint.
