Command Line arguments?

Does anyone know the command line arguments to force the game to launch in a particular resolution? I know the game launches in a 4:3 PC resolution, but this resolution is incompatible with my monitor, so I need the command line resolution to launch it in 1280x720.

1280x720 should be listed in options once game goes live. Otherwise, just use maximise instead of full screen. It will take care of it by itself. Maximise is same as fullscreen (you do not see taskbar etc) but it lets the computer handle resolution instead of the game. So you change resolution of computer itself to what you want and maximize will cover it, regardless of what proportion your screen has.

Maybe I didn't make it clear - I cannot see the game in its stock resolution because it isn't compatible with my monitor. As such, I can't launch the game at all to change it. I need to force it into a resolution my monitor is capable of displaying.

I don't have this issue with CO or STO, just here.

Hmm.... I am not sure if it will work, but you can then try opening the launcher and then press options (right side top) and then trying this command in Advanced command line - screen 1280 720

If that does not works, try checking the top left checkbox (full screen).

I am not sure if it will work, but it can be wort a try.

It was worth a shot, but it didn't work - all I get is a black screen with some music in the background.

    I also tried /x:1280 /y:720 and x 1280 y 720, to no avail.

I got it. I'm not sure exactly which one got me there, but I looked up some Half Life 2 console commands and entered this in the command line:

    -h 720 -w 1280 -window

It made the game launch in Windowed Maximized mode, getting me into the game without a problem.

Nice to know it was resolved!
