I do like the fact that the community is being challenged, but please challenge us more!
There are at least 10,000 potential beta participants, and that figure could be much higher. I am basing this on the number of keys distributed via contests and a rough estimate of the number of other beta key sources, like PC Gamer keys, the various packs, etc. Even if only 5,000 of that potential pool bother to log in and play, each player needs to only complete 20 quests, on average. Some players will easily complete over 100!
Anyway, I expect we will smash this 100,000 target by the end of Saturday. Maybe it will be like Kickstarter and there will be stretch goals? Break 200,000 quests and beta is extended by one day?
You should put up a update every few hours to let us know how we are doing!

But, but but .... if we complete this goal and get a level cap increase for the third beta ..... then that will only leave 10 more levels worth of exploring after release.
no we did not cause the level cap was 40. I got myself to 40 and I stopped getting XP as well as followup quests to move to a new area.
Probably beta 3 will be raise the level cap to 50 hopefully. I really enjoyed this game
you might want to reread the news
the contest was about whether the cap will be increased to 50 or not in beta#3

There were a lot of beta key give aways, and plenty of people with PC gamer and founder packs, I think 5000 people is fairly safe to assume. If we assume each one did 20 quests between any two characters they made, we made it. Also there are tons of people, my self included, that did way more then 20 between each toon.
I say 5000 is reasonable to assume because they gave 1500 keys alone to MMObomb to give away, they gave plenty to curse and many other sites. I think it was 7 different sights, and assume 1k each, 7k possible people just from this give away. Then the PC Gamer people, easily another 1k, then another 1k for the founders. Safe to assume 5k people.
