Okay, so I could write a thesis on the MMOs I have played,and a few of those I played since Beta. Instead, Ill get to what matters. I LOVE Dungeons and Dragons, Im 32 years old (as of this post) and have been playing D&D since about 8 years old. I even passed the love of the game onto my 4 kids (my Goblin Brigade, if you will).
I played DDO from Beta till about a two years in, then left for other games. I have been following this game ..... for quite some time. I am eager to get into everything it has to offer and be a part of the community. Recently I have been playing DCU Universe Online, Diablo III (which as cool as it is, I dont consider and MMO), and Guild Wars 2 (worlds better then the first one by the way). I am hopeful that Neverwinter will replace my MMO needs. I want SOOO BAD for this to be the game that keeps me. I have friends to this day who still play EQ ... Lord I didnt even know that game still had servers that ran, but it does (as of this post), and of course we all have friends and/or family that are WoW obsessive, not saying this a bad thing at all, just saying I hope this game is the one that keeps me from searching for my place in the perpetual MMO Universe. Glad to be back to Dungeons and Dragons if anything else

I recommend reading the New User FAQ if you havent already.
The Directory of the Founder Guilds of Neverwinter can help with guild shopping.
