Tieflings are where its at. Their history as a race is troubling and interesting no matter what D&D setting they're in. Also their models for this game look great, I was far too excited to see that they actually animated the tail movement well.
Human rogue who started out as a humble orphan, became a prostitute, learnt the ways of the shadow and now intends to use the shadows to gain power and destroy anyone who stands in her way
We're back with another comment to win contest! This time we're awarding two Neverwinter Starter Kits, one each to a lucky fan!
Let us know which race you can't wait to play in game first at launch.
This contest will end February 13, 2013, at 12pm Pacific (PST).
I cant wait to Play a Drow,, to be able to act out and play in real time a character race that I have read about so many times in Forgotten Realms Books and Salvatore Novels will be a dream come true. What was in my imagination from books can now come to life through my fingers and keyboard... thank you.
Dwarven guardian .... always liked the dwarven portrayed in D&D ... a mix of 'Viking' and 'Gaelic' Irish/Scottish.
future races could be the counterpart to the thiefling: Aasimar (celestial spawn instead of demon spawn)
Game on folks ...

I'm torn between my Halfling rogue (thief) character that I've played in every iteration of DnD both tabletop and on PC since I was about 7, or my Elven Barbarian (which I guess would have to be a great-weapon fighter in Neverwinter. Unless Barbarian is a later addition, in which case she'll be created later...)
Either way I'll have to make some changes to them to fit 4th ed rules as they stand in the game.
For instance, What alignments are supported? Cos my Halfling rogue is chaotic evil! (he was my evil alter-ego as a child, so he could get up to mischief that I could only dream of!)

My secret real answer is I'm looking forward to having a Dragonborn Great Weapon Fighter

Well, I'll stick with what I played for my first weekend test - Half-Elf and a Cleric at that. Fitting stats and all for the class.
