Anyone Using Windows 8?

So my launcher insta-crashes whenever I hit Launch (Can't even patch). And yes I've tried all the compatibility options, reboots, etc...

Is anyone else using Windows 8 64x and successfully managed to patch and load the game?

    yes i use it and i am fully patchd and also get to the loading Screen

    Aye, I am also using Windows 8 64bit and it gets to the loading screen.

    Yes I am and the game patched perfectly fine. I assume "compatibility options" means you tried running as admin yeah?

    You running on a laptop with an integrated graphics card? Many other have posted already on the same issue with a subpar gaming PC

    Have you disabled any and all remote access software programs?

    No problem at all. I have windows 8 64bit and runs fine.

    I am using Windows 8 Pro with Media Center (on a x64 bit machine). It works fine for me. I did make sure that when I first downloaded the game I installed it in Administrative mode though. Since then I've been able to patch and run the game using "normal" user rights.

    No login yet of course, but I understand from the post HERE that we'll be able to do so at 3pm EST. =)
