Only one I really want is Blackguard, even if I have to wait a few updates for it.

Otherwise; Barbarian, Warlock, Druid, Runepriest or Shaman would be cool as well.

There are many ways to get weaponmaster in 4e. There are various psionic options where you have a sentinent sword (like it is extension of your soul), a monk path where sword is like you soul etc.

A fighter also have various build options, so can a swordmage become "weapon of sword and magic". I did write a big post earlier about how swordmage is different from wizard using sword(forgot name). Basically one uses sword techniques and magic, while other uses oly the magic which enhances sword and sword techniques.

So while one swordmage may use fireball and sword, other mage will only use spell like "keen sword" "lightning edge(on the sword)" "fire sword" "icesword" "keen edge" etc.
Pure fighter also has a weaponmaster option.

Kensai is a paragon path for any fighter.
You get bonus to damage rolls, attack rolls for a particular weapon.

    Next paragon is swordmaster
This one is like, blade is extension of my body. It is different from kensai and is more attack oriented.

    Next is Polearm Master
This one is like swordmaster but with polearm and is based on reach (hitting opponent at a distance)

    Next is Rakehell Duelist
I did a story on it before. Basically someone who can duel one on one with anybody but is bad at 1 to many fights.

There can be more I forgot, but thematically there are many many kinds of weapon master - including those who use psion power/monk power etc.

I think druids can let spirits manifest in them in 4e - so you are not a true shapeshifter exactly, but somewhat like them (by letting the spirits manifest).

Shifters is a race btw, so you can also play a werewolf druid.

I'd poo in my hand if Monks get added. I have a friend who loves playing Monks in video games and takes Martial Arts himself and from what I can see Monks are either just not in the game or very poorly done.

I haven't really paid attention since 3.5, so I can't tell what all the fancy new names are... but, I'd like to see the 4e versions of the following classes I loved from 3e.

-Cavalier (if we have mounted combat anyway)
    -Bard
    -Harper Agent
    -Blackguard
    -Druid
    -Something that focuses on summons/pets
    -Deepwood Sniper
    -Arcane Archer
    -Shadow Dancer
    -Shadow Thief of Amn

We have all the items you have need, problem is we have more than one for most categories you mentioned. You need to choose a specific one. Like summons/pets: Arcane summor/primal summoner/psionic summoner or shadow summoner? And further more into each of tose categories, etc...

I'd like for them to start out with the "core" 4E classes.

    *In addition to announced classes*
    -Battle Cleric
    -Avenging Paladin
    -Protecting Paladin
    -Archer Ranger
    -Two-Blade Ranger
    -Brawny Rogue
    -Deceptive Warlock
    -Scourge Warlock
    -Inspiring Warlord
    -Tactical Warlord
    -War Wizard

Then have the remaining classes to be added in later, having to pay to unlock them. I.E...

    -Assassin
    -Ardent
    -Avenger
    -Barbarian
    -Bard
    -Druid
    -Monk
    -Shaman
    -Sorcerer

You get the idea. Haha. :)

I made some original lore about werebears and druids that would result in an Ursa-kin race evolving into a playable race when I ran my 2E game about 15 years ago. In some villages that accommodated them, you could find armor and clothes, which I called Bear-wear (TM). XD

    ...

Tey have already mentioned several times that classes and adventures will never be pay to unlock.

I'd like to see a Shamanic class... and the Lizard Man race to go with it so I can run around calling everyone "Warm Bloods". Most game developers seem to focus on the "Humanoid" races but other races like the Lizard Men and other Anthros are usually ignored if not forgotten altogether.
