Arc client - unable to patch

Trying to connect to the game and getting a Cryptic launcher 120MB update which never completes downloading. It keeps disconnecting and restarts all over.

Is this a valid update?

Anyone else having this issue?

    Same, won't connect or does and goes down to 104 MB, tries to connect, starts at 120 again.

    Seems like a global updater thing. Same topic is up at champions online forum.

    Have uninstalled the whole Arc and everything and then reinstalled. The updater still was closing off so I went to file location and ArcRepair file, now am updating the patch and waiting to play. This way I also see the Launcher and the patch running, not the little box updater that stalls out.

    Aparently uninstalling client + game and then installing again fixed it. Now i have to patch all zones and dungeons all over again. :/

    Turn off Patch On Demand on the launcher options.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    I believe this is not related to the issue. You can't even start the launcher. You get stuck in a an infinite loop of updating the launcher while it never completes. It doesn't actually open the launcher at all to make any changes either.

    I was directly referring to the "patch all zones and dungeons all over again". Turning off the Patch On Demand option forces the game to install all current files.
