Swap out from equipment? If yes, you don't need to because they are not slotted in your equipment anymore.

If you mean exchange old enchantment to new enchantment,

I’ve been out of the game for 2 years and I’m being told to swap my old enchantments for the new at the Antiques dealer but it’s not accepting.

Is this a bug and I’ve basically lost high ranked enchantments?

    Two steps.
You exchange old enchantment for medallion. Then, use medallion to exchange for new enchantment.
However, only old rank 10+ enchantment can be exchanged. An old rank 10 can be exchanged for ONE medallion. You need 30 medallion to get a new rank 1 enchantment. Read the link I gave you to get more information including exchange rate.

I suggest you not to do anything until you read that and understand its implication. You will probably be sorry if you do not do it right.

In addition, a new rank 1 enchantment can be purchased in Sage Shop in PE for 100K Ad each. It may not be wise to exchange 30 rank 10 enchantment to get 30 medallion for ONE new rank 1 enchantment instead of selling 30 rank 10 in AH to get AD to buy a new rank 1 from Sage Shop.

However, I have no idea about PS4 AH market.

Eurgh, what a fluff. Seems like they’ve ruined it.

Can’t seem to exchange my enchantments for medallions.

If you don't have any rank 10 and above, you can't exchange any.
I would consider it is a blessing because you did not invest much and do not lose much (comparing with those who had a bunch of rank 10, 11, 12).

Yeah I’ve got about 130 rank 9s over my characters. Still invested a lot in them.
So it’s just worthless junk now?

Yes, they are. They are your RP now. There was next to no investment for rank 9 because it was dirt cheap long before the change. i.e. comparing with the investment to r10, r11, etc. Sure, once upon of time, you probably invested a lot but they were just a tiny bit better than junk before the change.
