Wyvern Knives icon does not consistently show

I've just started using the Wyvern Knives artifact as a main on bosses instead of another one and I've noticed that the icon does not show consistently in the debuff bar on the boss. About half the time it appears, half the time it doesn't show at all. When it doesn't show it has apparently triggered fine and goes on cooldown (I assume it's working) but no icon appears to know that it's affecting the boss.
Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

    It doesn't stack with journal. That might be the cause.
    The meta it's just a guideline. And guidelines are boring.

    That may be the case, but I'm not seeing it appear when I'm sololing and I don't have any journal items.

    edit: For instance when grinding Bel over and over solo, I use this artifact for bosses so use it on this, and half the time it doesn't appear.

    Don't know if reported tbh, and i just found out last week xD Maybe that's why some ppl choose demo as active instead of it?
    For me it works perfect when solo (DoT and debuff) but it could be one of this:
    1) It is known that it can shoot the opposite way you are aiming.
    2) You are not close enough.

    Other than that, i have no idea, sorry.

    I'm seeing the extra damage being reflected, just not the icon where it should be.
