credit for chance to obtain zariel favor...

You guys are further than the consoles on the Redeemed citadel. How is it for you guys paladin healer on getting zariel favor from ascension? I noticed that you need to damage a mob repeatedly to even have a chance of favor dropping and then it is not certain. My only real aoes are the Chariot daily and bane/smite ( the one that aoe ones that costs too much divinity ). while i cant land a few quickly. Recharging divinity takes longer than dps and their ability to aoe and be able to 'be on the board' for favor to drop is significantly better ( not knocking it just saying ). Due note that i dont have the financial / time capability to just 'start up another class' and fully equip it and what not. I also notice that when I AOE heal ( which would add threat to mobs ) I don't get 'on the board' for chance at favor. It is only if you damage a mob. I know lightning enchantment helps with this a bit.. but still. I already bought the 5k zen thing for the long hail grind. However, shouldn't favor be able to drop equally for all classes/roles rather than pinging a single mob at a time and pray?

I am not playing a paladin for this event. I also don't depend on earning favor from BHE. My understanding of playing BHE to earn favor is (someone please correct me) if you put damage to an enemy, you will get favor when the enemy is killed. Hence, hit as many enemy as you can.

If I have to play my Paladin and assuming my understanding is right, I would use Relentless Avenger for movement, Smite and Burning light. Then, I use my at-will and run around a bit. If you have flower, use flower for your big AOE. You also have your mount power now.

On console, it is chance to drop via damage-enemy-death from personal experience.

There is a chance to drop via kill (outside of BHE) in solo. I assume that it is the same kind of chance. i.e. if the enemy's death triggers a drop, everyone damaged it gets a drop.
