I don't know if it's only me, but i really wish there was an invocation circle inside the workshop (hell there's already a bonfire in it); less running around like a dumbass.
I hate the concept of vip, since it turns this game into a subscription model instead of the f2p with MTs one. If the game had a subscription and no other purchase model maybe (although not even WoW is like that anymore).

VIP gives you convenience. It is not a must have. You can always pop an altar to invoke wherever you want.

Not to mention, if you're playing the game regularly it isn't hard to set up a schedule for yourself to put AD into the ZAX so that you have zen to buy VIP with without the need to spend money.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.
Just excuses for a manipulative monetization strategy. Still the circle there would be more convinient than not and won't take away from your precious vip.
Guys... there are these things you buy at almost any vendor. Portable Altars are not that difficult to obtain and don't cost me any VIP. While I don't get into VIP either, I will not judge using it. @pprandom most of players with VIP are running it through free Zen from the AD exchange. So there are always altarnatives.
Looking at it from a free (non-cash) point of view, 10 Altars will run you 2 gold / 500 AD in the AH. They stack, not like they take up a lot of inventory. I also keep Aurora's Catalog on my people who do crafting just so I don't need to walk out to sell at a vendor. That artifact runs 100 to 200 AD and is a one time only purchase. I don't really need the bank/mail box in there... however I look at it like a trip to the bathroom, better go before you get started. If I am doing any crafting, I stop and empty big bags, then check supplies, and head to the workshop.
No you don't need VIP for that, some people just want it, and will pay 750K per month for the convenience. They also love waiting in line at the Zen exchange for the inconvenience too! The rest pay $10 or whatever a month. I really appreciate them, they keep the servers running.

Actually, this is the time to buy VIP although (unlike previous 50% and 40% off) it is only 30% off. I never buy VIP for full price and I only buy 6 months. It is 446K AD per month (with 30% off for 6 months).
