liar's charms turn ins gated?

last nite i was grinding along...turning charms to illusionists when suddenly....no more pumpkins over there head. after a short time....they appeared again but when i turned a few in...poof...gone again.

Is this gated on the amount i can turn in per day?

    After you interact with an Illusionist, they are locked until you go through 5 (or maybe just 4) other Illusionists. If you run a circuit around the Coster Market, there are enough of them that you won't encounter any locked ones.

    5 is the number.
    so, collect ~5
    trade ~5
    open thousands of trick bags
    get some pinatas
    open thousands of pinatas hoping to drop the sash
    sash doesn't drop
    curse all gods and goddess you know
    rinse and repeat
