  something since last update has suddenly caused my game after sitting in Yawning Portal for no more that 30s to hard crash ,not to desktop but power off .. needing a reboot
  
  I just tried a complete reinstall of everything
  
  graphics drivers, windows and neverwinter to no avail
  
  tried the ideas from this old reddit post

  my machine has ran this game forever from the launcher.exe
  because I tried the reinstall I decided to run it from arc.
  
  all this just bought me a little more time
