Second Chest Key Change - Master of the Hunt Skirmish

The key for the second chest in the Master of the Hunt Skirmish has been changed from a Bramble Key (which could be made with materials from Sharandar quests) to a Legendary Dragon Key (which is bought with Zen). The skirmish is for level 64+ players. That being said, it would be nice to go back to requiring the Bramble Key. I'm not interested in using a Legendary Dragon Key (that is used for more challenging content) for this skirmish. Would you mind explaining this change? Thanks for all that you do... :)

    If it is telling you Legendary Dragon Key, you need to make a Bramble Key.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    I did not make one through AI but through Sharandar.
    I did AI just enough to finish it and got all the boons. I did not even make a key for the bank.

    legendary key is for all chests everwhere. Look before accepting. Bramble key is found in the sharandar store, the AI store has keys for 3 epic dungeons and bank heist. btw, i don't use legendary key for anything less that TONG, otherwise its a waste.

    unless you can easily make keys (like underdark) none of the extra keys are much worth it (I think vt is another easy one.. dont run it much so dont remember)

    Cn isnt a bad spot to drop down the extra underdark key.. chance at a shard.

    Anywhere you can get a +5 isnt bad... for coffer fodder at double mark days = 5k guild marks (if you can find a guild in need of salvage HAMSTER (gawdd.. hate HATE you so much devs.. for removing salvage and causing this general mess)

    at least they could follow through and make second chests where there is none like msva.. the general rewards you get with no key = HAMSTER fest x 1000. Complete waste of time if msva pops for the most part..

    I generally wouldnt buy keys for anything.. but if you do , tong is a good spot to use them (ive had some in the past.. ) just hate the concept so much, we shouldnt have to buy keys to run thier stupid game and they should figure out a different way to make money on us. To me that is the worst way..

    Only keys I use/make

    Greater Demonic Key
    Lesser Demonic Key
    Valindras Tower Key
    Dragon Queen Key

    I currently only run

    RLQ
    RIQ
    Rise of Tiamat
    Demogorgon
    Valindras Tower

    Saving for an Legendary Mount.

    Once I have got that not sure what I will do to be honest - the grind and repetition is getting to me now

    Hi Latimore - I just tested this by running (specifically queuing for) Master of the Hunt skirmish (and I have run this skirmish multiple times this past week through random leveling queue).

    I had both Legendary Dragon Keys AND a Bramble Key in my inventory - when I got to the the right side extra chest, it does and did allow me to use the Bramble Key to open. The only thing I can think of is that it is glitched for you. I know this does not help your current run, but you could try running without having the Legendary Dragon Keys in your inventory (keep them in your character bank), that would force the chest to accept your Bramble Key, although that would be inconvenient if you run different dungeons/skirmishes on a daily basis that might call for the Legendary Dragon Key.

    No, we make the keys by doing the Arcane reservoir and turning in Fomorion Potions for crescents, and buying them from the vendor (Thradisar Starwise I think)

    Open the Sharandar campaign; open the campaign store with the button on the left; Bramble Key is there.

    Feywild Sparks and Crescents are all the Bramble Key requires.

    Use Fomorian Concoction to exchange for Crescent. Use weekly AD quest to get Sparks.
    i.e. if you are already doing the Sharanadar weekly rAD quest (for the weekly 6750 rAD including bonus) which takes ~2 minutes, you get both except you probably won't have enough Fomorian Concoction. In that case, you can accumulate that slowly. By the way, I believe Fomorian Concoction is account bound. That means you can move that around toons.

    If you do Battle For Sharandar (assuming campaign is completed) that gives 15 Sparks and some Crescents. If you have the time, running a mini lair almost always completes the Battle requirement for 3 Feydark Crystals. This also satisfies the Stronghold quest for Sharandar support, if that matters.

    The Bramble key requires 2 components, 20 Golden Crescents and 10 Feywild Sparks. The Arcane Reservoir weekly gives you 100 Feywild Sparks. The Fomorian Concoctions drop from mobs throughout Sharandar . They can be traded to an NPC vendor next to the Banshee Gate. 5 Concoctions for 1 Colden crescent. You can also buy them from the AH. I run gnarlroot, Witches Fen and Celadine once per week & I usually have enough materials to buy more Bramble keys than I need.
