Profession Mailsmithing: impossible to create League's Raid Korazin and League's Elite Raid Korazin

Hello,

in the Professions of Mailsmithing is impossible to create [League's Raid Korazin] and [League's Elite Raid Korazin].

You need to slot all Mithral crafting tools if you want to have even a chance at it. I always try to get 3 of each Mithral & Steel qualities for each tool that is possible in each profession at the very least but rarely go above that.

If you slot 4 mithral tools of various types your chance increases to 60% and could be even 75% if you have a Mythic Gond tool as well.

Sure enough!

My attempt to lighten the mood obvious failed; even mean I agreed with him.

Originally I thought... the Raid were a result of the Higher Tier (3) quality being he hadn't slotted any tools; yet upon logging into my Mailsmith Professional realized all 3 Tier's were in fact wrong!

Anyways moving on... it's actually an amazing CATCH by the author, they are in fact the only RAID item of the 4 you can't currently produce! As the Head, Arms and Feet all work; just not the League's Raid / League's Elite Raid Armor.

Neverwinter Gamepedia originally identified them when Chult first released over a year ago as having:

▪ Still what greatly perplexes me: Common tools provide 8% Quality; yet Mastercraft (Common) provide 0%?
╘ I mean a tool/asset by definition should aid/assist in improving something no? Evil at work. >:)

I've included our lovely Community Manager in North America; and our European Moderator on this thread. As both our Cryptic employee's and TRY to have many things recognized/prioritized. Hopefully this will get corrected in the near to short term.

Ah, unfortunately NOT true.

All Professional Crafting tasks including many starting at level 15-25 can sometimes have skill or quality checks. It why if you wish to UNLOCK one of the 9 professional tasks you have to obtain the TIER 3 result, and only if you succeed at that skill check to you obtain the BEST item within that task. I understand you may dislike it, but it's always been that way for 5 years.

The old Gemmed Defender's Shirts (Epic) you use to create in Platesmithing for example: if you slotted all Mithral tools only gave a CHANCE of the highest gear. Now you may have got the exact same looking Epic Shirt; but if you wanted the single Offense Enchantment Slot you needed the Gemmed Exquisite result. If memory even with all Mithral tools would only produce that 20% of the time; so it could take you several attempts. But you could sell the items you already had to others on the Auction House.

If you look at his above screenshots give even the Tier 2 result is 0; he hasn't slotted a single Iron, Steel or Mithral tool. Also the Raid gear in this case with all Mithral tools gives a 60% chance; because here they allow you to use up to 4 tools; not 3 like in the previous example.

▪ Common (Worn) Tools give 8%
▪ Uncommon / Iron Tools give 16%
▪ Rare / Steel Tools give 24%
▪ Epic /Mithral Tools give 40%
▪ Legendary / Adamantine Tools give 50% - but are extremely RARE, and can't be upgraded to; at least not yet!
╘ All (except Common & Epic) can be upgraded from Professional Packs in ZEN store & Lockboxes, or bought on the AH.
╘ 4 Uncommon / Iron Tools can be traded for a Single Steel Tool.
╘ 4 Rare / Steel Tools can be traded for a Single Mithral Tool.

The ONLY thing I'd wish they FIX / CORRECT is the Mastercraft (Common) Tools you obtain at Mastercraft Level I,

As I denoted above all Common Tools provide a 8% quality improvement chance; yet Mastercraft provide 0%. I've argued in that case it's not even a TOOL/ASSET for the simple fact that "by definition" those TERMS are supposed to AID/ASSIST in the quality of something. While 0% completely disregards it even being a TOOL/ASSET as it does nothing. It's why I've argued they need to FIX that which is a BUG and extend what they themselves describe not as a tool used for common but for advanced crafting at least 8% if not 10%.

Still you can often pick up Mithral Tools for most professions for between 5-30k depending on the item or profession. I typically have at least 3 of each type in both Mithral & Steel for each profession.

At all 3 qualities this specific task gives assault and not raid despite the name saying raid...

Your the third person you pointed out my oversight. I'm just surprised I never saw your post earlier; cause shortly after I edited the above; I included all who pointed it out above. Even two hour's later when I made a small correction to a minor typo, hadn't seen your reply despite now showing your comment was 10 minutes after my original? Puzzled...

I'm an adult and can admit when I make a mistake! I'll go *sit in the corner* for an hour - Please no Dunce cap.

I had errored thinking "Raid" was the Tier 3 result as he hadn't slotted any tools. Yet shortly after brewing some coffee and logging in to check my Mailsmith, I quickly discovered how truly remarkable his find actually was.

Though I admit despite unlocking all the recipes on several character's, I've never even crafted a single piece of the gear.

Simply because most had 450-460 either from Epic Dungeons, Guild Mysterious Merchant, or Tradebars already.

Are you sure the tier 3 is correct?

I have just checked myself. Tier 3 is incorrect.
The tier 3 icon indicates it is Leagus's Elite Assault Korazin" (Not Leagues's Elite Raid Korazin as you said) for making "Leagus's Raid Korazin" which is the same as the last screen dump OP posted.

Yea I think that's why I was originally confused, yet thank everyone for no demands to wear a dunce cap.

Somehow I vaguely remembered the Tier 3 result used to produce Raid. It's possible 'now' all 3 seem to at least identify the Assault versions; but I'm not sure what the Tier 3 result actually award's... So I'm now off to craft some and will post the results when both League Raid Korazin Projects award the items so T minus 12hrs.... I got two baking at 60% crafting chances so hopefully one of the two will be successful obtaining the Tier 3 result and I'll post what it produces.

Regardless - it's still a bug as the first 2 Tier's should produce the Raid Korazin; and the Tier 3 should correctly identify the Elite Raid Korazin for sure.

UPDATE: Nope Elite Assault Korazin's do in fact reward - got 2 with Crit, Armor Pen & Defense - definitely not Raid.
