Companion Jewelry Question

So I had a quick question which support couldn't answer and I can't seem to find online.

So for the rings "Ring of Offensive/Defensive Action", does the equip abilities (gain 3% attack power/damage resistance after a daily power for 5 seconds) work on companions and/or do they stack? I understand they made it to where underdark rings didn't work but does this effect these type of rings too?

If this does work, I'm guessing it may need a patch as this could POSSIBLY be pretty powerful, especially if it stacks.

    does it not show these type of things in the stats, if when bondings proc it does not show in your stats it may only be applying that effect to your companion much like Hit points in defence slots on companions.

    The stats of the rings? It says what the equip ability is, but I'm not sure if it procs to character or just companion or not at all, just like the underdark rings dont proc anymore

    no i mjean if it applied to your character when bondings procced it would show in your stats page.

    It would only proc for 5 seconds so I am not sure if I can see it proc by the time I get to my stats. I am on console .

    I tried a little test with the ring on companion and character and it was pretty similar so I'm still not sure. I'd need someone who's better at testing stuff like this cause im not good at that

    only straight stats transfer to your companion and go through bonding stones. Equip effects that temporarily raise stats do not give you any bonus.

    This has always been the case since Underdark rings were relevant. You want to go for the best stats (sans Hit points) that you need on companion gear.

    A straight answer, thank you. I dont research much of this game, I just play. I didn't even know about the underdark rings till I looked up IG companion gear online.

    Looks like I'll have to get another ring with two offense slots then cause i salvaged what u had on my companion after the offense action ring lol.

    And figure out how to close this thread
