Hey folks,
I'm dealing with an injured left hand, and that is making games with a complex rotation and tons of movement (especially double-tap dodging) very difficult. I have a gaming mouse, but that doesn't help a ton. Is there a class/spec I could play that has a pretty simple rotation and is mostly stationary? Especially one where you can block instead of double-tap dodge? I'm mostly a solo player, might want to do some group content.
Thanks!

As for the class, GWF would prolly be the easiest to play, but pick it only if you aim to play solo or with friends.

I have nearly all game keys remapped to keys on this, which lets me keep my left arm nearly motionless (hint: place it on your chest)

My particular keypad is a slightly older model (Cherry ML4700), which is a different color. I've gone through a LOT of USB keypads playing Neverwinter, and this is the only one that has stood up to gameplay without failing.
My keybind changes: Interesting tidbits:
1. The keypad comes with an Esc key, which I'm slowly trying to learn to use instead of automatically reaching for the one on the laptop.
2. I found that an easy way to sprint (aside from double-tapping) is to hold the up arrow (8) down and slide my finger forward to then push the / key down as well. I don't know why it works, but it does. It allows for sprinting with a quicker reaction time than double-tapping.
3. Mapping interaction to the numeric + key has a very natural feel: it means you can interact with just your left index finger, with hardly any movement.
The final part to complete the picture is a Logitech M525 wireless mouse. The important aspect here is that it has a tilt wheel. This lets me map two more keys in a way that makes them VASTLY easier to use:
Mount
7 --> mouse button 4
Jump
Space --> mouse button 5
This means that I can aim and jump with just one hand: pushing the scroll wheel to the left activates the mount power and pushing it to the right jumps. So my left hand can concentrate solely on movement and my right hand takes care of direction and jumping. Try it. It's extremely intuitive.
This setup still requires two hands, but involves hardly any arm movement.
