2X Refining stones event

I was very happy to get superior mark of potency from arcane coffer in Dread Ring today.
Yeay, this luck only happens to me 2 times in a year at most!!
At first I was very happy then I started to wonder what happened to X2 event?
When you read about this stone it starts with sentence/this refining stone is a key component....
So if this is a refining stone what happened with getting 2 of them during this X2 refining stones event?
I really want to hear the answer from a DEV and if arcane coffers is not included in this event I really want to now why? ty

    Marks of potency don’t and never did give 2x for this event. The enchanting stones do however.

    So the answer is that during 2x Refining stones event you dont get 2x Rifining stones.
    But you get 2x Enchanting stones instead? very logical isn't it?

    It is because they have no clue how to name this event. This is supposed to be a new name of 2xEnchant event.

    The person who provided the new name of this event did not know: in the game, the only items that have the term "refining stone" in their description are various Marks. And, it is even used twice in their description. Gemstone and Enchanting stone do not have the term "refining stone" in their description at all.

    Opened a Celestial Coffer yesterday and was delighted to get a Coalescent Ward. Rather disappointed though that the ward was not included in the 2 times event. Still happy though.

    The preservation wards are not doubled either. But the gem stones in the Celestial coffer are, so that's a bonus. :)

    The name 2x Refining Stones was selected among several options. The older "enchants and runestones" was no longer applicable, and since there is already an item called "enchanting stone", we couldn't use 2x Enchanting Stones. It's a tricky event to name.

    everyone noticed marks of potency have rp values so they belong to refining stones category.

    Marks (of various type and not just potency) are the only items that have "refining stone" in the description. All the others do not. Equipment also has rp value. Should that be in refining stones category too?
